Fashion Design / Business Administration - Internship for Brooklyn based accessory and clothing designer .
Part time / full time. Knowledge of fashion and sewing skills are a plus but not required. Start ASAP.
Unpaid, with great potential for the right candidate.
We design, manufacture, market, wholesale and retail clothing and accessories for children and adults. This internship offers hands on experience in many creative and administrative areas of small business operation and fashion industry.
Tasks include assistance in :
processing wholesale and retail orders
packing and shipping orders
inventory
communicating with customers
communicating with the factories
help in setting up and running trade shows ( interacting with clients, writing orders )
fabric research
design
sample making
and more
skills needed: good computer/typing skills ( excel, word ) ; detail oriented; responsible.
